Our process allows us to produce special-high grade zinc from solely recycled materials. During this process, we also reclaim the following metals and materials:

Special High-Grade Zinc

We produce high purity zinc slabs and the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM International) jumbos for a variety of uses. The slabs use a unique interlocking design for sturdy bundle integrity in transit. All slabs conform to LME standards. Continuous Galvanizing Grade Zinc

In addition to SHG Zinc, we produce pre-alloyed (lead-free) Zinc-Aluminum alloys for continuous galvanizing of iron and steel products.  All jumbos conform to ASTM standards. ASTM International, formerly known as the American Society for Testing and Materials, is an international standards organization that develops and publishes technical standards. The ASTM standard for zinc-aluminum alloy jumbos implies the material is of uniform quality and reasonably free from dross, adhering material, and surface oxide.

Lead Concentrate

Lead is produced in concentrate (a dry-powder) as a co-product from our zinc refining process. Lead is commonly used in lead-acid battery production and in many other products such as ammunition, light bulbs, televisions, and X-Ray radiation protection. Silver is also recovered from the lead refining process. 


Gypsum is a fine-grained soft sulfate mineral composed of calcium sulfate dihydrate.  It is widely used as a fertilizer for farming and as the main constituent in drywall. 

Cadmium Concentrate

Cadmium is a metallic element that occurs in nature in association with zinc.  Its primary use is in the production of nickel-cadmium batteries. Once fully processed, cadmium concentrate is bagged into “super sacks” for safe storage and shipping.
